Kathy Walker Stewart is an Employee Benefits Consultant and Account Manager in the Employee Benefits Division. In this capacity, Kathy brings 18 years of expertise in the group health insurance field, as well as experience in Business Administration and Human Resources. As a broker she has worked with numerous health, life, dental, and disability insurance carriers. Throughout her career, Kathy has been instrumental in helping many employers design and implement a wide range of employee benefit programs. In addition, Kathy has a strong track-record of developing deep and meaningful professional relationships with her clients as they seek her expertise to add bottom-line value to their business. Along with her broker background Kathy has 13 years of experience working for a major insurance carrier, giving her in-depth knowledge of the intricacies and demands involved in working for and with a large medical insurance company.
Kathy has received a number of business distinction and community awards including YWCA's Outstanding Women in the Workplace, the Mohawk Valley Business Journal's "40 under 40" Award, and numerous awards and honorable mentions for sales and business growth. Additionally, as a community-minded person she has been very active in several organizations. She is a member of the Mohawk Valley Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM), a graduate of the Leadership Mohawk Valley program, and a volunteer for the Utica Boilermaker, The American Heart Association, and The American Cancer Society.
Kathy currently holds her New York State Agents License in Life, Accident and Health.
